  1. SUPREME COURT OF THE UNITED STATES
  2. STATE OF ILLINOIS, PLAINTIFF v. COMMON-
  3. WEALTH OF KENTUCKY
  4. on bill of complaint
  5. No. 106, Orig.  Decided January 17, 1995
  6.  
  7.   The motion of the Special Master for compensation
  8. and reimbursement of expenses is granted and the
  9. Special Master is awarded a total of $114,708.16 to be
  10. paid equally by the parties.
  11.   The Report of the Special Master is received and
  12. ordered filed.  The Report is adopted.  The Special
  13. Master is hereby discharged.
  14.  
  15.                          DECREE
  16.   It is ordered, adjudged and decreed that:
  17.   1. The boundary line between the State of Illinois and
  18. the Commonwealth of Kentucky is fixed as geodetically
  19. described in Joint Exhibits 3 through 26 to the Special
  20. Master's Report filed with this Court on December 2,
  21. 1994.  Joint exhibits 3 through 26 are incorporated by
  22. reference herein.
  23.   2. Copies of this Decree and the Special Master's
  24. Report (including Joint Exhibits 3 through 26) shall be
  25. filed with the Clerk of this Court, the Secretary of State
  26. of the State of Illinois, and the Secretary of State of the
  27. Commonwealth of Kentucky.
  28.   3. Copies of this Decree, and the Special Master's
  29. Report (including Joint Exhibits 3 through 26, and paper
  30. prints of Joint Exhibits 3 through 26, once they become
  31. available) shall be filed with the County Clerk's Office
  32. in Illinois and with the County Clerk's Office in the
  33. Commonwealth of Kentucky in each of the following
  34. counties:
  35.   In Illinois, the counties of Gallatin, Hardin, Pope,
  36. Massac, Pulaski and Alexander, and
  37.   In Kentucky, the counties of Union, Crittenden,
  38. Livingston, McCracken and Ballard.
  39.   4. The State of Illinois and the Commonwealth of
  40. Kentucky each have concurrent jurisdiction over the
  41. Ohio River.
  42.   5. The costs of this proceeding shall be divided
  43. between the parties, as recommended by the Special
  44. Master.
